Mini Missionary!!

Image
We had a phenomenal week!! Miracles are constant.     We had 2 investigators at church yesterday, Armando and Miguel. They are progressing so well!! They were answering all the questions in gospel principles class, they were so ready! Also at church yesterday, we noticed a man sitting down in the pews about 10 minutes before the meeting began. He didn't look familiar so we introduced ourselves and got to know him. He was a random guy who just walked into church! He stayed the whole 3 hours and we got his information from him afterwards. He seemed to really love it! We have an apt with him tonight.     Abi texted us and told us she couldn't meet with us anymore... It KILLED us. She was so close!!! We're not sure what happened or why she can't meet anymore, she didn't give us any details. We will continue to pray for her and see what happens.     We had a mini missionary with us this week!! It was SO MUCH FUN. His name is Daniel Perez. He was baptized a littl...

The Mission

My friends and family! I love you all!     I am emailing today because yesterday we had zone conference. It's been a wonderful week. Elder Jones and I have been WORKING HARD. Every single night, appointment after appointment, we're sprinting back to our car to get to our next appointment in time. I'm still trying to get used to our area! It's huge!!! Covering two wards is so much fun. We've been doing a lot of less-active work in the YSA ward this past week. YSA wards are so much fun to serve in!     So yesterday we had two of our investigators at church. Armando and his nephew Miguel. Miguel is in his 30's and he loves the church. He loves the Book of Mormon and knows it's true. He wants to get baptized buttttttt there's a little issue! His girlfriend lives with him. And she's extremely less-active. So we're going to re-activate her, get them married, and baptize Miguel! Armando, our blind man, loves coming to church but he's still very pas...

Incredible First Week Of The Transfer!

Image
Hey everyone! I hope yall had a splendid week!     My new companion is ELDER JONES!! I love him so much!!! He's a STUD. He's ridiculously funny. Haha, we had a great time. He's been out one more transfer than me so I'm learning a ton from him. His Spanish is flawless so I'm looking forward to learning more Spanish also. We have 5 new missionaries in the zone and they're all seriously remarkable. I'm soooo pumped for this transfer with all of them. We're gonna BAPTIZE.     On Thursday Elder Lundrigan and I held a zone training meeting with the zone. Our focus was "finding the faith to baptize". We've already found the faith to find, we can see that from the progress the zone has made with the giant find push. Now we need to transition that faith into teaching them and baptizing them. We need to become master teachers so that these souls can enter into the kingdom. We become master teachers by being one with our companion, and then becoming ...

Love You!

My Favorite People!!

I love you all so much. I want to thank all of you, individually, for the impact each of you have had in my life. Thank you for being you!!     It has been a marvelous week!! Elder Van and I have had a lot of success together. We have a whole new teaching pool!!! We're so busy that we have to prioritize throughout the day because we don't have enough time to visit everyone that we want. It's a blessing to be busy with the mission!!     So we are finally getting ipads this week!! I'm excited to utilize another tool to help build the Kingdom.      Yesterday was tough because we were expecting 4 investigators at church but none of them showed up... It's really frustrating!!! IT KILLS ME. We invited two of our investigators, Uriel and Jose, to be baptized, and they both agreed!! We just can't set a date until they come to church.  I had the privilege of conducting two baptismal interviews the past few weeks. One of them is a girl from Vietnam, her nam...
