Transfers!

My beloved family and friends!     Transfer calls came and Elder Jones and I will be staying together!! We're super excited. There's a lot of work to be done here and we're going to give everything we've got this transfer.     ARTEMIO!! He's progressing so well. We call him peg leg. He came to church yesterday and then accompanied us to the outgoing fireside of missionaries going home. He loved it!! Every appointment we had with him this past week he made it very clear that he wants to be baptized and knows that he needs to. But he keeps telling us that he's waiting for an answer for when. It's all a matter of "when" with him. We're going to try and help him take the leap of faith and JUST DO IT. We love him.     I don't have a lot of time but we found a family to teach this week!! They loved us and said we could come back anytime we want. There's a couple other solid people that we found last week also whom we'll be visiting this w...

Hey Everyone!

We had an incredible week!! We taught TONS of people and had a lot of success. We had a miracle with one of our "eternigators" (someone who has been an investigator forever but never got baptized). He's in a wheelchair because he got his leg amputated a while ago. We didn't like visiting him at first because it was a waste of time. He would tell us to leave and never come back. It was heart-breaking because he knows it's all true. When he first met the missionaries over a year ago, he read the Book of Mormon in one month and 15 days. He said it changed his whole life. But for some reason, he didn't want anything to do with us or the church. On Saturday, we felt promoted to visit him. We both felt weird about it because he wasn't going anywhere. We went anyway and when we knocked on his door, he WALKED out. We've never seen him stand up or walk. He looked completely different. He had a different vibe about him, he was smiling and just looked happy in ge...

Hey everyone! Sorry for the late email, for P-Day our zone took the bus down to Santa Cruz! It was all day so we didn't have time to Email.     It was a great week! I really learned a lot this week. We had MLC on Friday and it was phenomenal. I took so much away from it. It was a spiritual feast. Throughout the entire meeting I was just so eager to get back to our area and apply everything we had learned and get to work with a new sense of urgency. The theme of the council was following the spirit. We mainly focused on following the spirit while planning, finding, preparing to teach, and inviting people to be baptized EVERY DAY. Because that is what we are here to do, to baptize.     The work is going great in both wards! We're still trying to get the work going more in the YSA Ward, and it's slowly progressing! We are earning the trust of the members and they're looking for people whom we can teach. A lot of them are recent RM's so it's the perfect time. We pi...
