Incredible First Week Of The Transfer!

Hey everyone! I hope yall had a splendid week!

My new companion is ELDER JONES!! I love him so much!!! He's a STUD. He's ridiculously funny. Haha, we had a great time. He's been out one more transfer than me so I'm learning a ton from him. His Spanish is flawless so I'm looking forward to learning more Spanish also. We have 5 new missionaries in the zone and they're all seriously remarkable. I'm soooo pumped for this transfer with all of them. We're gonna BAPTIZE.

On Thursday Elder Lundrigan and I held a zone training meeting with the zone. Our focus was "finding the faith to baptize". We've already found the faith to find, we can see that from the progress the zone has made with the giant find push. Now we need to transition that faith into teaching them and baptizing them. We need to become master teachers so that these souls can enter into the kingdom. We become master teachers by being one with our companion, and then becoming one under God together as a companionship by teaching with the spirit. Two huge key factors for our goal will be member presents and having investigators at church. If these two things happen, people WILL get baptized. I'm excited to see God use His power according to our faith in this transfer.

So we had two investigators at church yesterday! Armando and Abi. Armando is our blind investigator, he's probably in his 60's. He is the sweetest man. He really enjoyed the meetings and all the members that fellowshipped him. Abi came to the YSA ward!! Which is perfect

for her. She's 18 so hopefully she'll make friends with all the YSA members. Abi was an investigator that we dropped a little over a month ago. We dropped her because she wasn't willing to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it. Plus she wasn't coming to church. Well she called us last week and asked if we could meet up again. She told us that she realized that whenever she stops meeting with us and stops going to church, bad things happen and she feels darkness and alone. She said that when we teach her and when she comes to church, she feels like an "angel". She feels peace and calmness. We asked her if she knew what was happening here... She just shrugged her shoulders. We were like "ABI THAT'S GOD TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING". She's been reading the Book of Mormon regularly so hopefully we can set a bap date this week.

We had 3 less activities at church this last week so that was amazing to see. I love it when people start to come back to the fold and realize what they've been missing out on. Elder Jones and I are ready to see miracles happen. We've committed to be 100% obedient and go to work. He's an amazing Elder and he knows why he's out here.

A wonderful thing that I am learning throughout my mission is submitting to the will of The Lord. Everything happens according to His plan, not ours. Whether it be a good thing or a bad thing, a great experience, or a not so great experience, we must accept it and give gratitude for it. How blessed we were to be sent down here and have this earthly experience. We all cheered for joy in the pre-earth life before we came down. We must remember who we are; Heavenly Fathers

children. As we continue through this mortal journey, it's imperative that we remember who we love most. Who we fear more. Where our loyalty lies. God? Or man? We must choose today. Do everything we can to serve the almighty and trust Him.

Proverbs 3:

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I love you all. Have a magnificent week.
