Transfers!
My beloved family and friends!
Transfer calls came and Elder Jones and I will be staying together!! We're super excited. There's a lot of work to be done here and we're going to give everything we've got this transfer.
ARTEMIO!! He's progressing so well. We call him peg leg. He came to church yesterday and then accompanied us to the outgoing fireside of missionaries going home. He loved it!! Every appointment we had with him this past week he made it very clear that he wants to be baptized
and knows that he needs to. But he keeps telling us that he's waiting for an answer for when. It's all a matter of "when" with him. We're going to try and help him take the leap of faith and JUST DO IT. We love him.
I don't have a lot of time but we found a family to teach this week!! They loved us and said we could come back anytime we want. There's a couple other solid people that we found last week also whom we'll be visiting this week.
We're ridiculously busy!! The work is moving forward in both wards and sometimes it almost seems impossible to keep up with everything that's going on but somehow it gets done. The Lord blesses us and strengthens us in more ways I can begin to describe.
A really cool experience from the past week: we had planned an hour for the day on Thursday to visit less active young single adult members. We planned to visit the ones living in Santa Clara, the neighboring suburb in which we live. There's about 30 less active YSA's that live there so we prayed and asked for guidance on who we should visit, because we couldn't visit all 30 in an hour. From inspiration we picked 5 people to go see. The very first visit we get
We get out of the car and an old lady walks up to us and says "my granddaughter is a member of your church. Her other grandmother just passed away yesterday, she could really use a visit from you guys. She lives right there!". She pointed to the door in which we had planned to visit! We told her that that's the reason why we came. The Lord guided us on exactly who to see at the very moment. Lauren needed some comfort and guidance and The Lord sent his servants to administer to her.
His hand is in this work. I know it.
The church is true brothers and sisters. I know it with every fiber of my being. It is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Every joyful experience I have ever had, every blessing I have received in my life, and all the wonderful knowledge I have is because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the most important thing to me in the entire universe. I will forever render my sacrifice and efforts to strengthen my brethren and share the gospel with everyone. I want nothing more to build thy kingdom in these latter days. I know of the happiness and peace it brings, and I want everyone to have it. That's why I'm out here.
I invite everyone to study it out and come to know for yourself. You will never regret it. I promise. Please, just try it out. For it is true.
I love you all from the center of my heart.
Elder Michael Felt
