Mis Queridos Hermanos

Hey everyone! Sorry for the late email, for P-Day our zone took the bus down to Santa Cruz! It was all day so we didn't have time to Email.

It was a great week! I really learned a lot this week. We had MLC on Friday and it was phenomenal. I took so much away from it. It was a spiritual feast. Throughout the entire meeting I was just so eager to get back to our area and apply everything we had learned and get to work with a new sense of urgency. The theme of the council was following the spirit. We mainly focused on following the spirit while planning, finding, preparing to teach, and inviting people to be baptized EVERY DAY. Because that is what we are here to do, to baptize.

The work is going great in both wards! We're still trying to get the work going more in the YSA Ward, and it's slowly progressing! We are earning the trust of the members and they're looking for people whom we can teach. A lot of them are recent RM's so it's the perfect time. We picked up a few solid new instigators this week so hopefully we can help them start progressing really soon.

So we found out that Armando also has a certain somebody that lives with him. They have been living together for about 40 years but never got married. NO ONE EVER GETS MARRIED IN THE SPANISH PROGRAM. We are now teaching his "spouse" as well. Our plan is to get them married so that we can baptize them. The same goes for Miguel and his girlfriend. I don't have a lot of time but I've been thinking a lot about the MLC we had and my mission up to this point. I realized that there is so much more that I could be doing better. I plan to recommit myself to complete consecration. I want to have all my thoughts and actions geared towards the Lord and His work 24 hours a day. We plan to give our everything every hour of the day so that we collapse from exhaustion at the end of the day. We're going to talk about baptism, think about baptism, and even dream about it. My companion and I want nothing more than to bring souls unto Christ through baptism. Our desire is to stand before the throne of God together and be ushered into His presence to receive celestial glory. We want as many people as we can get to have the same goal and blessings. It's going to take work. We're going to follow the spirit in everything we do, because God is at the head of this work. He leads and directs it. We are His instruments.
