Miracles - The Lord Is Doing It!!

Our week was nothing short of miracles!!!

 

 

This was probably one of the best weeks of my whole mission!! On Tuesday I got to go back to Hollister for a day!! It was so incredible to be where I began my mission. There are so many people there that I love and hold dear to my heart. I was doing an exchange with the Zone Leader down there, with my boy Elder Gardner! We were in the MTC together. We saw so many incredible things together. Through the Lord, we were able to find a family of four and teach them the restoration, and set two baptismal dates with two other investigators. We worked hard and got a lot of good things done. 

 

Elder Cusworth and I probably had the best week we've had while we have been companions. The area is picking up rapidly! We received two referrals from members this week and they are both families!! They are super prepared for the gospel. One of them is a part member family, the mother is a member but she's inactive. She wants us to start teaching her husband and two boys. One of the boys is Wyatt! He's so awesome. He's 11 and really wants to learn and come to church. He reminds me of my little cousin Wyatt a lot. Man, I miss him.

 

 

We had another awesome lesson with Justin Sun this week. He came to church for the first time!! His faith is increasing slowly but surely.

 

 

We taught Taja again, it was such a powerful lesson. We extended the baptismal invitation and she accepted!!! She really wants it. She couldn't come to church though so that was a bummer. Next week for sure!!

 

 

Next week we will be having a mission tour! Elder Joseph Sitati of the first quorum of the seventy will be coming. I'm beyond excited to hear from him and learn. It'll be a hectic week so I probably won't email next Monday!

 

 

We had MLC this week and it was fantastic! It was awe inspiring. As a council we put together some awesome goals that will help the fire spread. We will all find a new investigator EVERY DAY

I've learned a whole lot out here about "doing". Heavenly Father has so much in store for us, more than we will ever know. Sitting and waiting for good things to happen without effort will never get us to where Heavenly Father wants and needs us to be. We must choose today to serve Him. There are blessings waiting for us! Acting and doing coupled with faith will bring miracles and endless amounts of rejoicing and satisfaction into our lives.

As sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father, we are capable of so much more. For that, good intentions are not enough. We must do. Even more important, we must become what Heavenly Father wants us to be." - President Uchtdorf. 

 

 

Ahhhhhh dang it. The email sent halfway through typing. Haha sorry about that! As I was saying, we will each plan to find a new investigator every day and invite somebody to be baptized every day!! We're so excited to see the work increase and see the hand of the Lord in our each individual areas!
