I Love This Work

Hey everybody!

 

 

We had another amazing week. Heavenly Father is in the details and has been leading us on many occasions to find those who are being prepared. The zone is continuing to kill it! As a zone of 5 companionships, we taught 110 lessons this past week. Amazing things are happening!

 

 

We have a baptism this weekend! Daniella. We're excited for her and her family. Her parents aren't members yet, but we're working with them!

 

 

Something really cool that happened this week! We went to Panda Express on Wednesday after Zone Training Meeting for my birthday and Andrew Cherng was there!! He's the Founder of Panda Express, the guy who started it all! It was nuts because he got the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday and then he gave me a hug. It was pretty neat. I'll send a pic next week. 

 

 

So many miracles are happening and we are full of joy because of them! A few examples happened last night. We had about an hour left during the evening until we headed back to our apartment and we found some awesome new investigators. We were walking back to our car when we saw a man on the other side of the street sitting on a step. We crossed the road and introduced ourselves. He turns out to be the most kind man! He is super interested and wants to come to church with us and wants to bring his friend. Another thing that sparked his interest is the fact that his brother is a member in Mexico!! So cool. 10 minutes later we contacted a lady on the street, and it turns out her son is a less-active member! She was very impressed with what we shared with her. While we were talking to her, a recent convert from our ward walks by and starts teaching her with us! It was awesome! He was like, "I suffered for 12 years from depression due to a divorce and then I met these guys. Listen to what they have to say". A couple minutes later we found another family outside their house that wanted us to come back and share our message with them. 

That's just a few miraculous moments that happen every day in the mission field. It's such a blessing to be a part of, to know that you are on the Lord's errand. He WILL lead us to His lost sheep. If this was the work of man, it would fail. But this is the work of the Lord and He does not fail.
