"La Paz Os Dejo, Mi Paz Os Doy"

Hello everybody! I hope you all had a magnificent week!

We went on a super long hike this morning so I don't have a whole lot of time.

We had a really good week! We continue to teach Nestor and Paulina, they are progressing wonderfully. Nestor is still ready for the 14th. We are hoping to have another baptism on the same day, a girl named Valerie! She's been wanting to get baptized for a really long time so we're really excited.

We talked to a lot of really awesome people this week on the streets. A lot of them were really nice and interested. Hopefully we can follow up with them this week and pick up some new investigators. I LOVE talking to people. When you understand what it is we are sharing, the fear disappears. I wish for all people to know about the gospel of Jesus Christ! It is the only cure in the world. What we share is so sacred.

President and Sister Mella were at a mission Presidents seminar all weekend so he asked Elder Brockbank and I to stay at the mission home with their two boys, Mike & Matt, for a couple days. It was a blast!! I love the Mella family so much. I am so blessed to have been called here to San Jose! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

My faith and knowledge of the savior, Jesus Christ, continues to grow daily. I realize more and more how important faith is. Without it, nothing else will make sense. We will not believe in God's plan or understand His precious doctrine. "Through the gift of faith, miracles are wrought, angels appear, other gifts of the Spirit are given, prayers are answered, and men become the sons of God". And sometimes, faith is just trusting a feeling that we felt ions ago!

How beautifully simple is the gospel and how simply beautiful it is!

I LOVE YOU ALL. Have a magnificent week.

Shall we not go on in so great a cause?
