Dearest Mother
I just want to extend my sincere apologies for not talking to you more and praising you during the skype call! Considering it was Mothers Day (your day). As soon as I saw everybody I was very overwhelmed and completely forgot to tell you how important you are to me. It was mothers day and I didn't even praise you for being the mother that you are!
Mom, I wouldn't be the man I am today without you. Well, I am not a man quite yet. I am still just a mere boy striving to become a man. You have taught me countless life lessons and have always taught me to stay strong in the church and trust it.
I would be completely clueless in this life without you! I don't know how I would have handled moving here without you, how I would have gone through middle school, high school, track season, college application, and preparing for a mission. None of these would have been possible without you, Mom. Those are just the big things... There have been countless other things you have helped me with that no words or any amount of time can take to relate them all to you.
Just know how much I love you!! To the moon and back times a million! Yes, I remember you reading that book to me as a child. The one with the Mother and Son bunny, telling each other how much they loved each other. You are the one and only! The stalwart of the family. None of us would be here if it weren't for you.
You will be the first person I embrace when I step foot off that plane. Just be sure to get in front of Dallin :)
Your son,
Elder Michael J. Felt
