Big Changes!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing wonderful.

We have had quite the crazy week. It consisted of transfer planning, training meetings, finding, teaching, and baptizing! It doesn't get better than that.

I will be getting transferred! (Kinda). I will just stay in the Yerba Buena Ward and Elder Brockbank will stay in the Almaden Ward. The new assistant will be Elder Gardner! We were in the same MTC District in Mexico. He's a stud and will do amazing things for the mission! President has asked that I serve as Zone Leader in the San Jose Zone, my companion will be Elder Figueroa! He's an incredible missionary so I'm pumped. It's his last transfer in the mission so we're going to work harder than ever so that he can leave the mission absolutely exhausted. We have plans to baptize lots this transfer. We know the names of everyone who we hope to see enter into the waters. It'll be miraculous.

Nestor is still on date to be baptized this weekend! There were a few hold ups last week but we have faith that everything will work out! We should have a couple more baptisms in the coming weeks. I'm really excited for it. I'm absolutely STOKED to be working 100% in the field and in an area where 80% of the people we see are Hispanic! There are parts of San Jose that are like little Mexico's. I'm SO happy. Everybody else we see are either from Vietnam, China, or the Philippines. It's sweet. This area is the epitome of a melting pot. I'm not sure if I ever told you guys but our mission consists of 7 languages that missionaries are called to speak: English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Samoan, Tongan, and American Sign Language. It's SWEET.

I have learned enormous amounts about a lot of things the past few transfers. I am so grateful for this priceless opportunity to be a full time missionary, to represent the Savior. Our purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ, that's all! Nothing else. This gospel message means everything to me, it always will. "I glory in plainness; I glory in truth; I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell". (2 Nephi 33:6). Jesus Christ and His gospel is the only cure of the world. I know this to be true.

I love you all! I hope you have a marvelous week.
