Will You Be Baptized?

Hey everybody! I love you all. I hope you all had a fabulous week! The work is hastening here in San Jose and Elder Brockbank and I are privileged and overjoyed to be a part of it!

This week we went on exchanges with the Zone Leaders in Saratoga. It was a blast and we saw many miracles. I was with Elder Oliver! He's a stud. He's from Mexico City! It was a fun day because I've always wanted to have a native companion. We saw so many miracles! One experience in particular was with a 15 year boy, Alexis. We knocked on his door asking for Bryssa, she's a convert of about three years. Alexis answered and here's how the conversation went:

"Hey, how's it going! Is Bryssa here?"

"No she's not here right now"

"Oh ok no worries, what's your name?"

"Alexis"

"Sweet nice to meet you man. Well, we're missionaries and we share a really special message that we think you will really like"

"Yeah I remember you guys. Sister missionaries use to come by and teach my sister and then she got baptized"

"Oh sweet! Did you ever get baptized?"

"No"

"Would you like to be baptized?"

"Yeah!"

Hahah it was awesome. We will be seeing him this week to start teaching him. We've been having a lot of success lately with the younger generation. We met a lot of unbaptized children over the age of 8 at church on Sunday whose parents are either non members or less-active. So we plan to see them all this week and set some more baptismal dates.

We set a date with Larry for the 15th of May and a date with Nestor for the 14th. So we're stoked to work with them for those dates!

We had a Tongan mini missionary with us for the weekend! It was a blast. I love mini missionaries, they're all studs.

We had 6 investigators at church so that was a beautiful sight to see. They all loved it and want to come back!

The work is going really well. So many miracles and incredible experiencias happen every day and I wish I could tell you all about them!

I love this work with all my heart. Jesus Christ is at the head, I know it! This work wouldn't be possible if it were not so. Every doctrine, principle, and power that God has ever revealed throughout all time has been restored to the earth. We are living in the last dispensation, the dispensation of the fulness of times! All truth has been restored in its fullness. How blessed are we.

Shall we not go on in so great a cause?
