Transfer Week

We had quite the crazy week!! I blinked once and then it was over.

Tuesday and Wednesday were transfers! That was super weird because we took the sisters that I came in with to the airport... Their time is up! I couldn't believe it. Time flies way too much on the mission. We had 15 missionaries leave on Wednesday and we only had 2 come in. So we are super low on missionaries at the moment. It's a bit of a struggle but the work goes on! We have had to consolidate a lot of areas. So for those of you that are thinking about serving a mission or just waiting around, GET OUT AND SERVE ONE. THE LORD NEEDS YOU NOW MORE THAN EVER.

While contacting the new elders on Wednesday downtown, a large African American man shouted to us from across the street. "God is good!". I responded, "Yes he is!" And of course we talked to him. He gave us each a big hug afterwards haha it was awesome. I'm glad the new elder that I was with got to experience that on his first day :)

On Thursday we had the trainer/trainee meeting and then advanced orientation. Friday was MLC, we learned so much!

On Saturday Elder Brockbank and I drove up to San Mateo which is out of the mission, so that was super weird! We met with the Stake President and other youth leaders in the San Francisco East Stake to do a mini missionary transfer meeting. They are sending about 30 youth into our mission to serve mini missions, so we're super stoked for that!

Besides all the madness from this past week, we still had some time to proselyte and we saw some cool miracles. We received a lot of referrals from Jose and Angelica so we're ecstatic to teach and baptize their friends and family members.

This week was stupendous! We loved every minute of it. I truly never want this time to end. I've never been happier and I've never had more fun in all my life!

Doctrine & Covenants 24:12: "And at all times, and in all places, he shall open his mouth and declare my gospel as with the voice of a trump, both day and night. And I will give unto him strength such as is not known among men". This applies to everybody!! Not just missionaries. We must realize what we have to share. It is so precious and people need it now more than ever.

I love you all! Have a marvelous week.
