La Pascua

Hey everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful easter!!

We had a crazy week full of finding, teaching, exchanges, temple trips, and getting ready for baptisms!! Jose and Max will both be getting baptized this coming Sunday. We're super stoked for it. Jose and Angelica will be getting married right before his baptism. It'll be amazing!!!

A lot happened this week and we worked hard. We continue to see really awesome miracles! We had 5 investigators at church including the Castillo Family! They are a part member family in the Almaden Ward. We've been trying to get them to church for so long. It was such a rewarding feeling seeing them in church with us. The Lord is merciful. "I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me".

Elder Brockbank and I had the privilege of passing the sacrament yesterday in the Yerba Buena Ward. It was a sacred experience for me. I had done it for years in my youth as a deacon and teacher, but this specific occasion was special. It was Easter Sunday, the day the Lord was resurrected. As I carried the bread and water to the members, I watched their countenance and attitude towards the sacrament emblems. They handled it with such care and gratitude. The Spirit came over me and I was filled with a love for these people and a love for my Savior. I remembered Him throughout the sacrament and was filled with peace.

I love my savior so much. There are truly no words to express my love and gratitude for Him. Everyone who has ever lived, is now living, and ever will live, will be resurrected and gain eternal life because of Him. The tomb is empty, He lives!! I know this.

I love you all so much! Have a wonderful week.
