WHAT A WEEK
Hey everybody!!
I don't have a whole lot of time, transfers are tomorrow and Elder Cusworth is leaving so we're super busy today. I'm going to miss him so much! He is my brother. We've worked so hard and have seen countless miracles together.
My new companion is ELDER BROCKBANK. HE IS A STUD. We already know each other really well because we're "brothers" in the mission. We had the same trainer. Anyways, we will be covering both the Almaden Ward AND the Yerba Buena Ward from the neighboring zone, which is a spanish ward so I'M PUMPED. We're going to have so much work but we're so ready!! The Lord will provide.
We had same amazing things happen this past week. One of our amazing youth texted us notifying us that she has a friend that is super interested in the church, so we taught her Friday and it was AWESOME. She's so prepared. We want to meet her parents though so that we can teach their whole family.
So many great things are happening but time is short!! Elder Brockbank and I are going to baptize this next transfer and we're going to have the time of our lives doing it.
I just want you all to know how happy I am. The cause of my happiness is due to one reason: I am doing the work of the Master, Jesus Christ. Well, I'm trying to haha. There is nothing greater than this work. I constantly feel the spirit of this work burn like a fire within me. I consistently feel the Spirit of the Lord with us and it's so invigorating. I echo Alma's words, "O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I might go forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth..." (Alma 29:1). I just want to yell at the top of my lungs and tell everybody how much joy they can have from having the knowledge of the restored gospel. I love this work and I love this Church so much!!!
