Feliz Navidad, Prospero Ano Y Felicidad!

This week was wondrous!! There were SO many Christmas miracles. It was a wonderful week; full of rejoicing, gladness, and peace. It is my hope that it was the same for everybody else!

Our week commenced with more transfer planning. Transfers are in!! I'll be staying here for another transfer. I'm so glad because there is a lot of work to be done! We're teaching some pretty promising people at the moment. Monday evening we met with Gordy and taught him the restoration. He was quiet and listened intently. He asked some great questions. We again extended the baptismal invitation. His answer was perfect! "I'll read the book first". It was such an incredible lesson. We'll be seeing him this week!

We got a text yesterday from our investigator, Justin! He's a senior in high school. He said, "hey I read the chapter that you told me to read, can we meet soon?". Ummmm YES!! We're seeing him this evening.

We had our Mission Christmas Party on Christmas eve! It was AMAZING. We had breakfast, a devotional, a talent show, and then we watched a movie: The Other Side of Heaven. My companion Elder Cusworth and I along with 4 other elders participated in the talent show! We acted out the 12 days of Christmas. It was hilarious, I'll have to show the video some time when I return.

On Christmas day we went to President Davis' house to skype the family, it was wonderful! Seeing my family again brought me so much joy. I love you guys more than you'll ever know.

Time is of the essence, I apologize!

Christmas this year was one to remember. I am learning and growing exponentially on the mission. Being in the service of my redeemer and brother, Jesus Christ, is helping me become the man I wish to become. As I serve others, teach them the restored gospel, as I go through hardships, as I do everything I can to serve my fellow man, I become more and more acquainted with the Lord. It is a humbling and special experience.

The birth of the savior was perhaps the most serene event in the history of the world. I was not there, although I wish I could have, but I know how sacred it was. He came into the world to do the Father's will.

"It came upon the midnight clear, that glorious song of old, from angels bending near the earth to touch their harps of gold: 'Peace on the earth, good will to men from heavens all gracious King. The world in solemn stillness lay to hear the angels sing.

"For lo! The days are hastening on, by prophets seen of old, when with the ever circling years shall come the time foretold, when the new heaven and earth shall own The Prince of Peace their King, and the whole world send back the song which now the angels sing".

I love you all so much. Have a great week! May we all try and do and be a little better this coming year.
