Mira! Estamos Empezando A Quemar!!

Hello my beloved friends and family!! I hope everybody is doing well!

 

 

This week was insane! I loved every minute of it.

 

 

Just a few updates and highlights, that's all I have time for today. Transfers are tomorrow and we still have a few things that we need to get done. Including playing basketball and stuff...

 

 

The first half of the week was all transfer planning! It was great. It's cool to see.

 

 

Friday, Elder James J. Hamula from the first quorum of the seventy, came to our mission! Friday evening Elder Cusworth and I joined President and Sister Mella, and Elder Hamula in the mission home for dinner. It was an incredible experience. Elder Hamula asked about the mission and what we can do better on. Then we all shared miracles that have happened in our lives and beautiful experiences that have come to pass. 

 

 

Saturday morning Elder Hamula addressed the Mission Leadership Council. It was PHENOMENAL. He talked about "The Doctrine of You". He went into depth about who we truly are, and where we came from. We learned so much from the wise servant of the Lord. 

 

 

Sunday was the outgoing fireside for the missionaries that will be returning to their homes this week. They all bore such powerful testimonies. Hearing those simple yet profound testimonies filled my system with light. There is nothing greater than a powerful, unadorned testimony of a servant of the Lord. You don't have to believe what they say, because the Holy Ghost testifies to you that it is true, and teaches you as they speak. It's a beautiful thing. Those who open up to their Father in Heaven in prayer, and close in the name of Jesus Christ, will not be left without a witness. I promise.

 

 

Well that summarizes my week!

 

 

Time for the cool stuff.

 

 

As we know, we lived in Heaven before this life. We chose God and His plan. We utilized our agency to serve and love Him. We fought in the war in heaven under the Arch Angel, Michael. We overcame Satan and his followers by three things: Through the blood of the lamb, our testimonies, and our consecration to the Lord (Rev 12). The war in Heaven was won, yes, but it was transferred to here on earth. The war goes on. Satan will not go down without a fight. How do we overcome him? We do the exact same thing we did in pre-earth life. We use The Lord's atonement, our testimonies, and our consecration to Him. We need not fear, for we have God on our side. But we have to do everything in our own will and power to fight for the cause of truth. We are the offspring of God, we have enormous potential to do marvelous things.
