Beautiful Week!

This week was absolutely marvelous! I had so much fun being immersed in the work of the Lord. General conference was spectacular. I enjoyed the spiritual feast! The Holy Ghost confirmed to me time and time again that the men speaking and giving us counsel were hand picked by the Lord himself.

We had a miraculous week! Not a whole lot of time so here are some quick highlights:

Wednesday we street contacted a man working on his car, he was interested so we set a return appt. We went by Saturday, taught him the restoration, invited him to be baptized, and set a date for October 31st! It was amazing. The man is prepared.

We received a referral from a member yesterday. We called the guy and set an apt for 7. His name is Richie and he's 20. MOST PREPARED GUY I KNOW. He's been studying the church for a while now. He wants to know EVERYTHING. He's already half way through the Book of Mormon and he's planning on catching up on the sessions of conference. The spirit in the room was extremely powerful. It bore powerful testimony to all three of us about the truthfulness of the restored gospel. He asked so many perfect questions and each time the Holy Ghost guided us on what to say. I know without a doubt that he'll receive an answer here pretty soon.

Victoria came to church and she brought her husband! Her first time!! We've been trying to get here for forever now. They're both coming to FHE tonight, so we're hoping that goes well.

We're still visiting with Blanca and Maria. Both progressing slowly but surely.

This weekend was a highlight for sure. Never before have I been so excited for conference than I have been on my mission.

President Uchtdorf's words rang loud in my mind, "As all of us as members of the church, we need to make a conscientious effort to the church and build the kingdom of God".

As did Elder Ballards words, "Exaltation is the goal of this mortal journey, and nobody gets there without the atonement of Jesus Christ and His teachings. Hold tight, sail on. We will reach our eternal destination".

I know the church is true. I know Christ lives. I testify that He leads and guides His church. He has chosen righteous and consecrated men, His apostles and Prophet, to carry on His work here on the earth. Think about it, my friends and family... It makes sense that God would provide us with such guidance and direction. It is evidence of His divine love for us, His children. We can see the pattern of God's chosen servants all throughout history, why would it cease?

Transfer calls are this week! I'm excited but I don't want to leave. This area is on fire right now.

Have a fabulous week!

I love you all!
