I Love To See The Temple!

I won't finish that sentence because it's still a while before I go there some day... ;) no for real though, going to the temple and seeing families there, to see people getting sealed is marvelous! I can't help but think about being sealed with my own family some day in the House of the Lord.

 

I'm not sure if you guys remember Leah Williams from the YSA Ward, but she was the less-active that elder Jones and I taught for a while. Well she went to the temple on Saturday to go through for the first time to be endowed! And WE GOT TO GO! It was perfect. It was

absolutely beautiful. There is no greater joy in seeing someone you love and care about make such an important covenant with their Father in Heaven. She was overwhelmed with the spirit and it was marvelous to see. I want to do everything I can to see others do the same thing! We had an awesome week! We have a few promising progressing investigators right now. We didn't set any dates this week unfortunately, but we are working on that. Maria feels that she needs more time. It's the same story with Patrick. And Blanca is praying and reading earnestly to receive an answer! We know she'll get one soon. She's super solid.

 

 

All is going well. I love my companion and I love my area! There's two more weeks left in the transfer and elder Jones and I have been together for 3 transfers. We're anxious to see what happens! I definitely want to stay here for another transfer. That would be amazing because I firmly believe that I'm in Zion right now. I'm so excited for general conference! I can't wait to be spiritually fed and re-boosted. I absolutely love listening to our beloved apostles and prophet. I know they are called God and will share with us exactly what we need. They are modern day revelators and I know with all my heart that they will tell us what God wants us to

know and be prepared for.

 

 

So there is this storm called "el niño" that is expected to hit pretty soon. It happens every few years or so, and it's when the seas get super rough and it rains a TON over here in California. It's supposed to flood pretty bad. And because it hasn't rained in a long time, California is in a pretty bad drought. Apparently because of all the cracks in the earth here due to the drought, the flood will cause the tectonic plates to shift, causing some earthquakes! I'm pretty stoked!

I'm a storm addict. I love it when stuff like this happens. The church is true everybody! I know and I love it. Keep on keepin on.
