Transfers!
Transfers are tomorrow and I'm super pumped! Elder Jones and I will be staying here together for a third transfer and we're both super stoked for it!! There's so much work to be done. We're going to GO HARD this transfer and see miracles. We absolutely blew our monthly goals out of
the water this month and there's still a week left! So we're going to set higher goals with faith and just The Lord do His thing, with hard work and trust on our part. Faith & Action. It works wonders.
I will be receiving another ZL comp! Elder Delgado! We're in the same Ward, just different areas. I'm SO EXCITED. He's a fireball missionary. We have a lot of great ideas and plans for the zone.
This week was awesome. We picked up some solid new investigators that are all super promising. One of them we met yesterday while walking out of a park. We had just finished talking to a drunk man sitting under a tree, and we were walking to our car (I love los hombres
borrachos). A guy stopped us and asked if we were Jehovah's Witnesses, we said no and told him who we were. He looked really relieved and proceeded to tell us that he had moved from Guatemala a couple months ago and is looking for a church. Incredible right? It's usually us trying to get people to come to church haha. His name is Hugo Lopez. We're looking forward to meeting with him soon.
Another new investigator we have is Mike! I really like his name. He's Persian! It's so cool. He's really interested in our church and why it's different from other sects.
Artemio is still set to be baptized for this weekend! We've been fighting like lions to keep him on the path but all is well. Sometimes the adversary likes to remind us that he's still in the fight, but when all hope is lost, Heavenly Father swoops in and saves the day. His power and influence will always prevail. Gus is also still set for this week! I'm excited to return to my stomping grounds and see all the wonderful people I met when I began my mission. It will be a dream.
Time is short! I love you all. I know the gospel is true. It's all true. Jesus Christ is at the head of this great church. He always has been and always will be. "For the eternal purposes of the Lord shall roll on, until all his promises shall be fulfilled" - Mormon 8:22. I am determined to serve Him at all hazards.
Elder Felt
- This is Leah! The YSA girl that was less-active for a long time and came back stronger than ever. She spoke in sacrament yesterday and it was so powerful. She's off to BYU today! She has come so far. It was such an awesome experience.
- Two elders in the zone that are going home.
