Feliz Día De Las Madres!

Buenas días mis amigos y familia! Espero que todo esta magnifico.

I hope everyone had an amazing mothers day and told their mothers how much they love and appreciate them! I know I do. My mom is everything to me!! I love her beyond belief. Without our dear mothers, we are nothing.

It has been a crazy week!! We've been so incredibly busy. I wasn't in my area much this week due to exchanges, but great things still happened in Sunnyvale!

On Tuesday I went on an exchange with Elder Delgado, one of the District Leaders. He's from Peru!! He's such a stud and a great leader. I learned so much from him.

On Wednesday I went on exchanges with Elder Black, one of the assistants. I was in his area for the day. WOW I LEARNED SO MUCH. He's an incredible missionary. He was the assistant that picked me up from the airport so it was really cool to go on a 24 hour exchange with him. We had some really cool experiences together! Throughout the day we were in the office helping out the senior missionary couples and then during the afternoon and evening we did a ton of missionary work. We visited about 20 houses and NOBODY answered. Towards the end of the night, we were walking back to our car when we felt impressed to talk to a Chinese couple on the street who were walking their dog. They were totally interested and LOVED what we had to share. We referred them to the Chinese elders. The elders were shocked because they said this never happens. So hopefully they can teach them and get them dunked!!

So the Zone is struggling at the moment, so we are having a Zone Training Meeting tomorrow to get everybody pumped up again and re-focus their attention towards baptisms. We're going to relay the message we learned at MLC to our zone and hopefully we have some major changes.

We picked up a couple new investigators this week! One of them was a referral from my brother Elder Davis!! My MTC comp. His name is Jesus. He knows all about the Second Coming and knows about the apostasy. He knows that the truth was lost and is still waiting for it to be restored, perfect right? We're meeting with him again tomorrow.

We have a couple other investigators who are SO ready, but they just won't take that leap of faith and set a baptismal date. We will continue working with them.

It blows my mind when I think about how much I have learned in the past 7 months. I can't even begin to comprehend how much the Lord has blessed me. When I was on exchanges with my ZL comp, we contacted a Russian man who was atheist. We talked about his beliefs and then we shared ours. We testified with boldness that there is a God. Everything around us denotes that there is a God, as it is written in the Book of Alma in The Book of Mormon. Everything little thing about the earth, the galaxy, all the creations, how things happen, point to a Supreme Being; our God, our Heavenly Father. He is the father of our spirits. He is all knowing. His wisdom and knowledge surpasses that of man. We must put our complete trust in Him at all times. He has promised us blessings, he has the power to fulfill them. And he WILL fulfill them. We must push forward knowing that we are in good hands, in the hands of the Almighty. "Everything will be okay in the end, it it's not okay, then it's not the end". - Gordan B. Hinckley.
