Mi Familia!

Como esta todo mi hermanos y mi hermanas! Espero que todo es bien.

It has been a tough week! We got dropped by a family of 3 investigators. They are the hardcore Catholics. They dropped us like a sack of potatoes. It hurt really bad haha. They said they don't want to hear anything anymore about The Book of Mormon or Joseph Smith. They only want to hear about God, Jesus Christ, and the virgin Mary. So that was a really hard day. It was my first time being dropped. Our teaching pool kinda decreased dramatically because Jose Munoz, our miracles investigator, went to Mexico again for I don't know how long. Sooo we have a lot of work to do this week! We're going to contact a bunch and look through our formers to pick up new investigators and find, teach, and baptize more souls.

Gus is still doing well. Still wanting to get baptized and all, he just has a lot of court issues he has to deal with. He has the choice of either going to jail for 2 months, or being on house arrest for 45 days then being on probation for 3 years.

Our other investigator Juana is INCREDIBLE. We had an incredibly powerful lesson with her last week. She wants the gospel more than anything, she wants to come to church and be baptized. She has enormous faith. She has finished the Book of Mormon and is starting it again! Only problem is, her husband is hardcore catholic (surprise surprise) and wants nothing to do with us or the church. He won't let her do anything. We have to teach her on her porch because he doesn't want us coming in. It's a really difficult situation. My heart aches for her. She teared up towards the end of the lesson and said she wants nothing more than to be a member and show her family the gospel. But she fears that if she does join the church, she will get kicked out and lose her family. It will take time.

Everything else is going really well! We do a lot of service activities throughout the week which is always super fun. Serving is the best thing in the world.

I love you all! Have a splendid week.

The pic of the boys is Brian and Henry!! They are my favorite people. They got baptized a month before I came to Hollister. They're probably my favorite family.
