Family And Friends!
I don't have a whole lot of time so this email will be short!
We are teaching a lot of people right now which is awesome! We're always busy. We have about 3 people that could get baptized any day now but there are huge roadblocks. Juana is ready but her husband won't let her come to church, Gus is ready but he needs to serve his time in jail for 2 months first, Jose Munoz is ready but he needs to get married haha. If he gets married, it'll be my third wedding in the mission already! How funny is that?
Everything else is going really well! Our district is incredible! Out of the 4 championships in our district, 3 of them have baptismal dates! Hollister is on fire! I love serving with all the missionaries here so much, we're all super close.
I am loving every single day of my mission more than words can describe. I love reading all of my brothers emails who are also serving right now all over the world! It brings joy to my soul and tears to my eyes knowing that we are serving together, brothers under God building up His kingdom in these last days.
I love you all! Have a great week.

One cool thing I learned this week was "And it came to pass". We read this sentence in almost EVERY scripture it seems like. But I have never really thought why it says that every time. IT BLEW MY MIND. Everything that happened in the Book of Mormon; wars, rumors of wars, wickedness, corruption etc, it all came to pass! Just like in life when we go through trials, hardships, tribulations... They will all come to pass. The prophets in the Book of Mormon are teaching us something in every verse, something so small and simple. Everything will happen in the Lord's due time. Everything that has happened, that is happening, and will happen, is all a part of His grand plan. Everything will come to pass!
We drank this herbal tea called "Mate" (mah-teh). It's a traditional drink that people drink all the time with their family and friends all around South America! You drink it until it's gone, then you pass it back to the person holding the hot water and they fill it up, and then it keeps going around the circle until you can't drink anymore. It was awesome.
